Who we are
A team of mathematicians, clinicians, and engineers — focused on one quiet gap.
HK Biocode is a biotechnology company innovating life-saving solutions. We bring mathematics, medicine, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence together to make early breast-health awareness accessible from home.
What we do
We watch over the months between screenings
Mammography and ultrasound are essential pillars of breast screening — but most women have long intervals between scheduled imaging, and many delay screening altogether. Our work lives in that gap.
Our flagship technology, Breast Guardian, is a non-invasive, radiation-free device worn at home for a few hours each month. It captures a subtle physiological signal that an AI model interprets into an interpretable breast-health risk reading — an earlier prompt to seek clinical imaging when it is warranted.
The goal is not to replace the clinic. It is to give women, and the clinicians who advise them, a structured reason to stay engaged with breast health all year round.

Culture & values
The principles that keep us honest
Accessible by design
Screening should not depend on a clinic appointment. We build for busy women, caregivers, shift workers, and frequent travellers — monitoring that fits into a normal night.
Evidence before claims
Breast Guardian is a validated medical device, not a concept. We hold our messaging to the standard a clinical reader expects, and present cumulative figures cautiously.
A complement, never a replacement
We are unambiguous that our device adds a layer between points of care. It does not diagnose, and a normal reading must never be used to defer recommended screening.
Calm over alarm
An elevated reading should prompt appropriate follow-up — not panic. Every result is written in plain language, with clear next steps.
Where our expertise comes from
Four disciplines, one device
Mathematics
Signal modelling and the digital-biomarker algorithms at the core of every reading.
Medicine
Clinical oversight grounding the device in real breast-health pathways and escalation.
Biotechnology
The sensing hardware and the biology of the thermal signal it captures.
Artificial intelligence
Machine-learning models, developed with HKUST under ITF support, trained on biopsy-correlated data.
